  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomato in olive oil
  • 5 mature cheddar cheese (or sliced mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp basil
  • 8 smoked, sliced bacon
  • Fresh basil to garnish

  • Prepare an oven-safe dish and drizzle some olive oil on top. Heat your oven to 190°C/374°F.
  • Stuff the chicken breast fillets with sun-dried tomato, some slices of cheese, and basil pesto after cutting a pocket into it.
  • Take 3-4 slices of bacon to wrap each piece of chicken breast. Fasten them with toothpicks for the next baking process.
  • Bake your chicken for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Best served with vegetables or starch.

Note: The dish is best served immediately so that the bacon wraps remain crunchy.
