Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound navy beans soaked overnight
  • A chopped sweet onion
  • 1 cup chopped bacon
  • Smashed garlic clove
  • 2 tsp cider vinegar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/3 tsp dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • When you're ready to go, drain your beans and place them in a slow cooker
  • Then, add the sweet onion, diced bacon, and garlic clove.
  • Fill your slow cooker halfway with water, cider vinegar, ketchup, and dark brown sugar. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper to taste.
