Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • Paprika
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • Lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Rosemary

Instructions
 

  • Get a cling film and lay its length on your chopping board.
  • Combine all the dried spices, herbs, pepper, lemon zest, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Spread half of the spice mixture on a cling film. Put your chicken breasts on top and sprinkle the remaining spices. Cover the meat pieces with another layer of cling film.
  • Use a rolling pin and lightly pound the chicken. This step helps flatten and tenderize the defrosted meat piece.
  • Heat the frying pan with olive oil on. Cook your chicken for 4 minutes in this hot oil until its surface turns golden.
  • Turn your chicken breast to cook the other side. Add the whole garlic clove and some rosemary. Continue cooking for a few more minutes until they are all cooked through.
  • Squeeze lemon juice on top of the chicken. 2-3 tablespoons of water are good enough for you to deglaze the frying pan.
  • Toss to cover the chicken breast in these juices on the pan. You can now serve the dish right away with diverse choices of sides.
